Dear All,
I have compiled SCBCD beta exam info, objectives and started appending mock questions availavle here in a single document in the following location.
http://www.ourbangla.com/scbcdbetaexam.doc
But the document format is yet to be improved due to lack of my time. I hope you'll pardon this. And also check out for errors.

Could you please switch to RTF format (maybe zipped)? You know, not all people use MS Office, and not all people are eager to convert the format all the time.
Anyway, thanks for putting an effort in it

Excellent job Ashik. Keep it up
I think we will soon build up a FAQ and include some links to mock exams at the top of this forum as done in the other certification forums.
Kathy, what do you think?

Faiza,
EJB Roles should be initially read from Ed Roman's Mastering EJB 2nd Edition. Then go through deployment descriptors+spec combination. In many case you have to guess...

Ashik, amazing job! Just to be sure, in the part "Things you can ignore for the exam", when you say:

Anything about BMP (so, chapter 12 and 13 are out, as well as chapter 14 about CMP 1.1)

Are talking about the EJB 2.0 spec? Another thing, does anyone know if there is an HTML version of the spec? I personally find it *really* more useful than pdf.
Thanks,
Francisco

Fransisco,
Yes, Kathy was talking about EJB 2.0 spec. As you have some time, don't miss to go through this spec once quickly and once mapping against exam objectives.
As I am currently working as a technical reviewer of a book, I could not compile the last few days updateshere. You'll get the updates at 23rd morning. I'll continue posting whenever I update the menuscript.
Also any mistakes pointed out in the note will be greatly appreciated.

I made an HTML version of your document, I think its better than rtf. If you want, I can publish it on my personal page, or I can send you a zip with the html and a png for an image you used in the document. I am completely aware *you* are the author of the text and by no means I want to take credit for your work. If youre interested in the html version, tell me, or give me your email.

Dear Fransisco,
Thanks a lot for the HTML version. Please don't hesitate to publish it in your personal page or site. I always like to share my ideas and resources with others, and whatever I learnt so far was from people who shared with me. If you ask me, then I may desire to see my name in the acknowledgement list only. If not, no problem.
However, I was planning for an HTML version just after finishing the whole document. I have two other same notes (SCJP1.2 and SCWCD) done more than one year earlier.
Happy keep going....

Here is the address:

sorry for the long url, but im having some trouble with cjb.net. Another thing, I would more than glad to convert the other 2 texts to HTML, and publish them on my site, if you want.

Fransisco,
That looks really !
If you think my SCJP1.2 and SCWCD notes are also eligible to convert in HTML version in your site, you may get them in www.ashik.move.to

Ashik, I created a folder with all your notes... go to http://www.geocities.com/francisco_guimaraes/ashik and check it out...
Francisco
ps. If its not too much to ask, it would be nice to have a link from your page pointing to that address, so your visitors know that theres an HTML version of your notes.

I have updated my SCBCD tips yesterday. This version adds Valentines Mapping between Exam Objectives and EJB 2.0 Spec, Study Resources, Figure: The road towards SCBCD Certificate, What to Know from Syed AliRaza Zaidi, Figure: Strategies for Dealing with RemoteException or EJBException in Client among others. However, if anyone develops new mock questions I would request him to send an e-mail to me at ashik@sansons.biz so that I can include them in my notes.
