hi All, Iam registered for the exam on 11th of this month. I don't know whether 400 mark will reach before that .Is there any possibility of knowing how many have actually taken the exam?Does Evelyn has any plan of extending this 400 mark?If not i can try taking tomorrow. Actually, I'm rather curious on the no. of candidates that have taken the exam till now. Maybe we can start a vote in this thread for those in the ranch who have taken the exam for a rough indication, starting from me then: No. of candidates taken = 1

Many, including me, would appreciate it if someone from SunEd would post a notice beforehand about the magical 400 to have been reached before one gets to the testing centre only to hear that the voucher has been expired... I believe Kathy promised to post when the limit is reached -- can anyone confirm that?
I think Sun will allow as many as possible tester(us) to take the exam. But only first 400 passed will be given the certificate. . SCJP 1.4

I am registered to take the exam on 24th June. I thought it is confirmed. If 400 people take the test before 24th, I don't know what happens to my CONFIRMED registration. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Your confirmed registration will be invalid if the number of people who took the exam is = 400 by the 24th. Of course you will receive a notification from Sun well in advance.

Venkat, I had signed up to take the exam on June 28th, but once I realized that after 400 exams are taken it closes, I changed the date to this Friday. I would recommend that you change your date too. :roll:

Examples: questions posted by Bert and Kathy on this forum (see the very beginning) were actually taken from exam and I can tell you there wasn't much difference, perhaps wording only.

Ladies and Gentlemans, I strongly suggest you to take the exam soon. Remember that many may take the exam at javaone and so many others could even know not of this site. My guess - and that is only a guess - is that the 400 could be reached before K's bday (june 19th). If you plan on taking the exam after the 25th, I'd strongly suggest you to reschedule it before that date. Again, this is only a personal guess. Good luck to everyone, Gus - waiting 'till tomorrow!

Hello Everyone! FYI I have sent out more than 400 vouchers and as of TODAY, approximately 300 have registered with Prometric, only 120 have taken the exam. Please sign up to take the beta, I need 400 beta testers (actually taken exam) for this beta. I have had at least 10 no shows (signed up and don't show up). I will send out an email to everyone I have sent vouchers to notifying that I have 400 complete beta testers. That looks like a long ways away Evelyn
