Hi
This is for the people who had taken
both SCBCD beta test and EJB2.0 test from brainbench.
Could you comment on both tests? Which one
is harder?

Yeah.. It's really harder exam than brainbench EJB2,0 exam. I did't appear to the EJB2.0 exam but I did SCBCD beta exam which was really easy but time consuming to answer all the questions in time. Although time was 4 hours but each and every questions like DnD were harder than other catagories.
Anyway EJB exam is really hard.

Hi, the Sun SCBCD and Brainbench EJB 2.0 tests don't compare exactly. Brainbench tests are adaptive, and the questions get more difficult the better you score. However, I understand that Sun tests just take questions from a pool. Also, the SCBCD certification concentrates on the EJB spec, while the Brainbench test has a few additional topics. There is still much overlap though.
Having taken the SCBCD beta, I would say that the Sun SCBCD test (compared to Brainbench EJB 2.0) has more detailed questions on EJB roles, the EJB lifecycle, and in particular, some tricky questions on EJB QL. Overall, SCBCD seems to require a very thorough knowledge of the EJB spec. Compared to SCBCD, the Brainbench EJB 2.0 test (which is an open book test) is probably less hard than SCBCD, but the Brainbench test would still be good preparation for taking the Sun test. Brainbench also has a useful mock exam for their own test.
