beta extended to 600 people?

Hello everyone,
I received an email from Evelyn saying that
she just moved the number from 400 to 600 beta takers, does this mean a maximum of 600 people
has the chance to "actually" take the beta?

Yes, that's what that means! You still have 2 1/2 weeks to study and take the beta!

Agreed - I would have taken more time to study if I'd known they were going to extend it.

splendid! that means almost all the people with a voucher will get their goal for the beta(since only 600 vouchers were given out)

So the exam taker pool is increasing. Is that also possible that the date for the beta exam will be extended too?

Moving the date? Well that depends, hence I'm working on a schedule! So at the moment NO. So get in there study and become certified for free

I know I could've moved the 400 to 600 earlier, but it took alot of convincing on my behalf!

Is it a fact that only 600 vouchers have been dispensed? Originally, I'd planned to prep hard and take the exam on day 1 so as to have a good shot at being in the first 400. Unfortunately, my Father died on May 22 and that broke all my plans. Now, I'll need a full two weeks to prep and if I know the beta won't close before two weeks I'll start studying tomorrow. Any advice?

As of today only 275 have taken the actual exam! Sign up and take the beta!!!

Thanks again for monitoring this forum and keeping us posted Evelyn. I'm very surprised that only 275 testers have appeared so far. I have no idea (and would love to know!) how many folks hold each of the Sun certifications, but I'd imagine there are a good number of certs out there. Anyway, based on your info it looks like I'll have more time to prepare and can push my exam date back to July 7 from July 3, so the 275 number is good news to me.
