what is Beta Testing?

Is it something like, a trial test for the exam setters also? so that they can formalize and have a proper setup for the actual professional exams they conduct? Are there any other aspects of this exam?

Tina, this IS a professional exam. The difference here is there are 3 times more questions (183) and some of them might not make there way into the final exam. You are there to try them out. There are no hints, nothing, everything is just like a formal exam. Why go for it all? Well, at the end of the day, when you pass the test, you get the very same certificate as your followers would have gotten, no beta marks, nothing. Yes, and it's free

what if I opt to go for it and then fail? will I be eligible for the paid exam later?

Are you sure that there will be no *beta mark* if one passes the exam. I *doubt* it.

Dear Pradeep,
You'll get a fresh certificate, indicating you passed SCBCD for J2EE 1.3 without any mark that this is a certificate of a beta exam. Be sure of it.
