Just back from the exam. It was ok. Here are a few pointers into preparation Once you are sure that you have read well about deployment descriptors and roles, read them again. Also, stress on "which method can be called from where" issues. I used Mastering EJB and the spec. Both were invaluable. You may also have to concentrate a bit on the container's responsibilities from the spec. Dushy SJCP
