Kathy,
When are you going to decide about the extension of the BETA exam, I've scheduled it for July 7th(its Monday so tough to get out 4 hrs, also most of the testing centers are closed all the 3 days of long weekend) for now, but if there is an extension I'd like to postpone it to the Saturday after 7th, we can plan beter if we know early. Thanks

The extension would be nice. Since we are pretty busy at work, I would really appreciate if I could take a test on July 12( or Around that date)

Howdy --
I've said more about this in other topics, but the short version is that I don't have any information on this (I'm a contractor on the development team for the exams, but I don't have any involvement in any other business / management / logistics aspects of certification). SunEd headquarters (which includes the certification department) is on a full holiday shut-down this week, so there is a good chance that I won't even be able to reach anyone who could answer these questions. 
I'm so sorry about all this confusion and frustration, and I wish I had better news or something *useful* to say about it
In the meantime, I will still try to get ahold of anyone who might have the answers.

All,
Unfortunately the beta will not be extended. I have had a great response from candidates.
The beta closes on July 7th or if I reach 600 beta takers.

Evelyn, I think you should take full advantage of Sun's "full holiday shut-down" so as to be away from your desk in the event we hit the 600 limit before the July 7.

Evelyn,
What are the latest numbers of the BETA takers? Looks like its crossed 400, just wondering if I'll get a chance to take it on the 7th or need to prepone

Hi Evelyn,
I got the voucher on 26th and i was prepared to give it the very next day.I called up the prometric guys they said they are not entertaining any further registrationsa as they have already reached 400 mark.Now after a day they called me again and asked me to give my details and i can take the exam on 4th of July .Now today morning I get a regret mail from them.How is it possible for me to get registered and take the Beta..Is it possible or not please clarify.
