Hello,
I was curious to know how the real SCBCD exam questions will be different from the SCBCD beta exam ? Also, will be there any changes in the exam objectives ? There will be drag and drop questions even though most of us faced problems in working on drag and drop questions ?
regards

The real exam will be shorter in time and will ask less questions

Well, I imagine they won't be getting rid of the drag and drop questions. Personally, I liked them because it was more of a knowledge question than multiple-guess. I also imagine they're going to figure out how best to handle the memory problems (though a reboot often helped there with getting things restarted).
And, there'll be no issue with needing to pee, unless folks drink too much before going in..

The questions will be from the Beta. The Beta is to test all the questions that they had written, find out which are too hard or too easy and drop them. So from the remaining questions they pick from those that will be in the real exam. I don't think they rewrite any new ones.
That is basically what happens, the exact nature of how they do it, I do not know, but this is the impressions that I got as to the process.

Howdy -- yes, Mark has it right. There will be *no* new questions added to the exam that weren't on the beta. The beta tests *all* questions, but in the real exam, any given candidate sees only a small portion of the total pool of questions. The questions are carefully analyzed for difficulty, so that even though two candidates may not get the same exam, both exams will have the same balance of difficult and easy questions.
I think we dropped at least one drag and drop question, but you can count on plenty of them being in the real thing
The real exam will probably have 70 questions, and you'll probably have 120 minutes, which should be plenty.
And as for that, um, *other* problem people had with the beta... you should have more than enough time, and the testing center should let you *out* when needed. In other words, even though you will not be able to stop the clock on the exam, you should still have plenty of time. The more water you drink, the better your brain functions, so I say it's worth it to drink the water
Although those of you who pass the beta do not get a *special* cetification (you get the same certification as the final test), you will have the subtle pleasure of knowing that those who take the REAL exam have only a small handful of questions compared to the torture that YOU went through. You might even casually, joking of course, refer to them as 'wimps'
cheers,
Kathy
(all I can say is that I'm glad *I* didn't have to take the beta. I would have had some trouble even though I *knew* what was on it).

Hello Kathy,
When are the results going to be released ???
I hope that psychometricians must be through with analyzing the performance of all the candidates by now
