Hi, everyone Congratulations on passing the scbcd test! That's cool indeed! I am new to ejb. I started preparation for the scbcd test a month ago, so I must pay myself for my near future test I like programming and java, though I don't know how much that could help me to find a job in Canada. I have more than 8 years development experience in C/C++ in web/telecom/wireless areas, and started touching java one and half years ago. I got SCJP with 91% and SCJD with 94%. All this is fine but all this could not help me finding a job in Canada. I landed Canada last year, and so far I just got some work experience in a supermarket as stockperson. From June, I also design and write java code for somebody, under JBoss. I get payed less than US$5/per hour in this "contract" work, without other welfare and benefit. I hope the situation could be a little better after I get SCBCD. Hi Hover, Where abouts in Canada are you? CGI in Edmonton is always looking for good java programmers. Even if there isn't a posting on the web site, bother Toronto and Edmonton offices are a great place to start. Perry CGI Calgary www.cgi.com
