I remember there were quite a few good mock test ( free ) when I was preparing for the SCJP. I was wondering if some one could help me with mock test on SCBCD. Secondly ... I havent ever coded in EJB and relted tech. So I was wondering that if one need to practice and memorise the API in order to pass the exam. I remember SCWCD needed person to memorise tags and other related syntax(web.xml and all) Steve

This seems like a question for the SCBCD people, so I move it thusly.

There arent many free mock exam sites like we had for SCJP. Check the links page http://www.valoxo.ch/jr/SCBCD_Links.html for whatever is available. I would be interested in knowing the response to your second question from those who have already taken the exam. Manjunath

some how i have a feel that instead of having benefit from peoples experiences and being java community we are stuck in commercialization. For a 150 $ exam we end up spending 300$ for its material... I remember about SCJP... we had some 3 cool test which was enough to get a kick. But otherwise all the links mentioned on the site needs browser expertise and general waste of time. I was wondering if we could come up with compiled version of set of exam Q's which would give an idea about the exam. Regarding SCWCD... servlet specification and JSP spec with Manning book did all which was needed to get it flat. That site had lot of mock test to give a idea about exam Q's. Somehow this group is more about selling books and counting certified people. I might be expecting much but with just 3 material to read and some mock test needed to be there, why waste peoples energy and time dragging in comercial stuff. I believe this java ranch should be for help and work as egroups. Steve

Steve- You can't compare SCJP with SCBCD. SCBCD was released a month ago, so it's normal not to find many good quality mock exams. If you want, you can wait a little bit until more successful aspirants post their experiences and more websites put up certification questions. I might be expecting much but with just 3 material to read and some mock test needed to be there, why waste peoples energy and time dragging in comercial stuff. I believe this java ranch should be for help and work as egroups. How about only 2 material to read: Head First EJB EJB specification. that's it good luck
