Please, explain detail in this topic of EJB spec2.0. I not understood in diagram and detail(Before Change, Change, Expected Result)

I do not have the spec in front of me (wrong room) sorry... but I'll look at it tomorrow. However, I did post a few pages from our relationship chapter, and it talks about rules of assignment. Maybe that will give us a place to start...
