since scwcd will be expiring soon, i wonder if the same thing will happen to scbcd since they are right now based on J2EE 1.3 ?
i am planning to take scwcd, but since it will expire soon, i thought i should take scbcd instead
what's your guys opinions on this?

You can never tell for sure, but if anyone wants to bet me, I'd be happy to bet that the current SCBCD will not be updated for at least a year.

Spot false dilemmas now, ask me how!

I don't think so.
(I have the SCPJ2 1.2 and I haven't expired. My employer does not want ME to expire!)
Really! The Business Component Cert JUST came out! How can anyone expect it to expire soon?

Happy Holidays!

"Java Freak". Great having you around JavaRanch. But just a mo'; please take a couple of minutes to read the JavaRanch Naming Policy and change your displayed name accordingly. You can change it here. After all it is the real Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates answering our questions. (I think )
