Hello Everyone. I am studying the Head First EJB book, and on page 28 want to make, deploy and test the AdviceBean. However, if I use Windows XP, will I be unable to run the J2EE 1.3 RI?
The reason I ask is that the download site for J2EE 1.3 says it works on Windows NT and Windows 2000. There is no mention of XP. Here is the download site I went to:
http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/
Secondly, when I select Windows Install and press Continue, and then accept the agreement, and am taken to the download page - when I click the actual download link, I am given a page cannot be found error. Is this just a temporary problem or should I find another place to get the 1.3 J2EE download (assuming it will work on Windows XP)?
Thanks
