Possible SCBCD Beta 1.4 exam???

Hi,
I actually just missed the SCWCD beta 1.4 exam and am planning on taking both the SCWCD and SCBCD within the next couple of months. Does anyone know if there is also a SCBCD beta in the works just as there is one for the SCWCD?
I would assume that this is the natural step since updating the exams for the current version of j2ee is important. But does anyone have any idea when that might be? Is it the next task after the SCWCD 1.4 exam comes out? I'm stuck trying to figure out if i should just take both right away and then upgrade later, or take both when they are the up to date version.
Does anyone have any good insight on this?

Hi Dave,
The SCBCD is brand new! We designed it for 1.3 on purpose. J2EE 1.4 is also new, and it takes a long time for vendors to implement a new J2EE spec, and then even longer still for companies to migrate to it. The intention of the exam is to reflect the real world, and very few people will be using 1.4 for a while. This exam (the 1.3), will be around for a long time, if I had to guess I would say a SCBCD 1.4 exam is at LEAST a year away.

Yah i knew that the SCBCD just made it out onto the market, but i was just curious b/c it seemed that the SCWCD sure made the switch to 1.4 really fast, but i guess thats b/c there are alot more monumental changes with the solidification of jstl, el, filters, etc.
I will probably take the SCWCD in about a month and take the upgrade exam when it becomes available. Do you know if there will be an upgrade exam? or do you have to take the whole thing over again? In my current situation i think i should really get the old one b/c certifications are pretty important at my stage in my career.
