Hi all, I've cleared SCJP and SCWCD. I'm planning to take SCBCD exam. I have virtually no experience with EJBs. What is the best way to approach this exam? How much time do you think would be sufficient to prepare for this exam? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Deep

Buy Head First EJB, by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates. If you don't have Head First Java, you might want to get that one too, and maybe also preorder the Head First book on jsp and servlets. Neither Kathy or Bert has paid me to say that. It is just as simple as that they write the best books on Java.

What is the best way to approach this exam? The best way to approach this exam would be to start learning EJBs, of course, by having some hands-on experience first. Download the J2EE 1.3 SDK and start reading the J2EE tutorial by going through the examples. How much time do you think would be sufficient to prepare for this exam? This question depends on your ability to assimilate the stuff. No one can really answer this question. All you can do is to find people with similar experience and deduce how much time you might spend on that based on their stories...
