can entity bean get passivated in the middle of the transaction?

can entity bean get passivated in the middle of the transaction?. In case of session beans middle of transaction passivation won't occur. is it same for entity beans also.

I haven't come to that chapter. But i guess it makes more sense not to passivate them during the middle of the transaction.

Hi Guys ,
Especification the passivation could occurs when bean is a middle of transaction ...
The reference is page 169.... "The container can choose to passivate a entity bean within a transaction".
