Hi,

Referring to p.209-213 of HF-EJB.
What happens when the client calls
remove() on a passivated bean?

Does the container activate the
bean since the client has requested
removal, or for performance reasons
does it send the bean to the garbage
collector?

Cheers,

Gian

ejbRemove() not revoked,it will be sent to garbage collection.
if you want to perform anything before you sent to garbage. you need to specify them in ejbPassivate().
by doing this you will achieve objective even it didn't call ejbRemove().
