Hi ranchers

This is my first post in this forum as now only I am starting my SCBCD preparation. I bought HFEJB dey before yesterday. I am entirely new to EJBs and dont have any idea of it. I have downloaded JBOSS and installed it. I have written the bean class and the two interfaces given in 1st chapter. But I couldnt compile them. It is showing errors as could not resolve symbol EJBObject, EJBHome, SessionBean. I could infer that the class path for the jar which contains all these classes is not properly set. But I couldnt locate it by myself.

So can anyone tell me, how can I set the class path?. I am using JBOSS 4.0.2. Advance thanks.

before compilation and execution set classpath to the following jar files
1) jboss.jar
2) jboss-client.jar
3) jnp-client.jar

These jar files are available in the jboss folder

Hurrah!! I have got the correct classpath. The classpath needs to be set to jboss-j2ee.jar. I opened each and every jar file in winzip and got this.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
