Both are good book. i am following both.First 3 chapters in head first is little bit draggy. But they explained the concept very well.
It helps to understand the basic concepts which pictures.you won't get bored while reading Head first.

SCBCD study kit is short and quick. I feel, this book ease the revision.

I agree with Jo. Both books are good. I've found SCBCD Exam Study KIt to the point (quick) but still comprehensive, and very cohesive...It tells a continuous story..no hopping from topic to topic...and no jargon thrown on you without explaining it...

hi,

i havent seen the other book, but the hf ejb book is okay. you will usually fall asleep with a 600-page book. but this one keeps you awake. what more, it is written by some of the creators of the real exam; so they would know what to put in the book for us.

regards,

I think beside reading these books you should also have a look on EJB specification before going for a exam.

So don't you have any surname or lastname? It is a strict policy of the Ranch to have a display name with Firstname<space>Lastname. Thanks.
