SCBCD take or wait EJB 3.0 ?

hi ranchers,

I am currently hesitating whether to start preparing SCBCD right now or wait until the next version of SCBCD come out (with EJB 3.0) (which could result in a very long wait...).

I have basic knowledge of EJB and I am currently starting a project where I will use it quite a lot.

I passed SCJP and SCWCD, and my idea was to head to SCBCD, but when I reali
zed that EJB 3.0 was a major evolution,so I don t know what to do..

I am in two minds : take it now and apply what i learned from it in a real project. --> time consuming because It will require me to pass the EJB 3.0 upgrade when the new SCBCD will come out
or wait to get the latest one, it will save me time but I will not master EJB during my real project.

What are you thinking ? Should I go ahead ? wait ? or think about passing another certification such as SCDJWS ?

Thanks for your feedback !

Even I had the same dilemma.
My take on this is, since it's atleast 1 year away, no point in waiting. I guess after realease of exam, it will take another year before people start insisting on newer version. And I also feel that at most places, the version doesn't matter.

As a developper, you may encounter many exisiting projects using EJB2.0,
and you's probably wish to clearly understand what's going on behind it.
I don't think it would be a waste of time to study for EJB2.0.
Good luck.
