Hi, I have done SCJP.Now I want to know whether I should go for SCWCD or SCBCD? JavaRanch had always been a great help. Please helpme in deciding this also. Presently I am looking out for job so exam which will help office work strategy is not there Thanks in advance,
For me, I haven't worked with jsp/servlet since long time... and I also didnt have much experience with the tag libraries and EL ... on the other end I had been in touch with the EJB things, so I thought it would be easy for me to go for SCBCD now ... so you decide on what you can take up
Maybe look at what area you'd like to work in, Web apps or business components. And if noone applies or if you don't care, what Ankit said applies, choose with your heart, what do YOU prefer, what do you want to specialize with?
Congratulations for the SCJP and good luck for...whatever you choose
I know its kinda silly...but I am still not able to decide which one to give.. If you ask me ....I like the portion included in scwcd but I think market for scbcd is better than scwcd. Also I think scbcd is tougher than scwcd & so recognition for scbcd is more? Need to give the exam in next 1 month...but still not able to make which one to give..confused!! ;( please help.. -Ameeta
i would suggest u go for the scwcd...If you think the whole J2ee life cycle Presentation Tier Business component tier EIS tier..in mind then u should choose scwcd first then scbcd as your concept related to server will be more clear..thenu can head towards business componet once u went through all tiers u can go for App Architect exam which requires knowledge of all tiers..
