Hello. I want to have a confirmation . Today after passing the SCWCD exam I checked the SCBCD certification from Sun . I thought it was 150$ and now I just found out that its 200$. Am I missing something ? I thought that the exam price was the same as for SCWCD1.4 and SCJP1.4 that is 150$. Can anybody confirm. OTOH I will start preparation for the exam so if anybody has any tips regarding duration , preparation methods , books and so on please don't be shy ... Regards Mihai

This is interesting. When I purchased exam voucer a month ago(April 19th) It was $150/- Now. it looks like $200. Not sure when this raise in price happened!. You can read HFEJB for exam prepration. See the below link for more details. SCBCD Preparation
Thanks. I was not sure. The point is that I wanted to buy the voucher and I was told that 150$ would not do. I thought that I read it wrong the first time and it's good to know it changed on the way .
Besides HFEJB is there any other good book ? I was thinking to start with Master EJB (because I am new to EJB2.0) and then to buy too exam books to get me to the exam. Regards. Mihai

Mastering EJB is worth reading book beside HFEJB. Any way free pdf download is available in internet for Mastering EJB. But the latest Mastering EJB is for version 2.1 .. But exam covers only version 2.0. Keep this in mind while reaing Mastering EJB.
If you take a look at the other certification exam voucher prices, you'll see that they all were increased from $150 to $200. I guess Sun decided that the certifications are worth more... or maybe it's to cover the insane gas prices
I wonder if I should show this to my manager and say "Hey, value of Sun certifications went up. Looks like you owe me a raise!"
