I am not giving the exam if the somebody answers yes to my question.
Also in some mock tests i found questions like what is new in EJB2.0(which themselves are old BTW)?
How would you know such sort of details without going thru each and every page of specs. what to do? please help.

Hello, First you can find a similar thread here which will answer your question here.

Second, the EJB v2.0 is the most recent version of this exam. There has been some discussion about a beta exam for v3.0 at the end of this year, but I personally cannot confirm that.

Thanx patric for the info. but my q. is different. the thread you pointed out was asking if specs alone would be enough where as my q. is if one can do without touching specs. i mean is HFEJB(and some mocks on net) alone is enough? I am not at all willing to go through all teh 572 pages. thats not practical. So if I take a decision to take exams without touching specs would that be a risky decision is what i want to know.

Hello Tejas,

May be teh specs are too boring to read all the 572 pages.. and HFEJB is written in some jazzy way.

Ideally what I would think specs are the source of everything, so should be referred couple of times atleast to get to the heart of a concept.

btw, HFEJB is also @ more than atleast 400+ pages, right?

Regards,
Tiro.

Hi tejas,

From the experience i had from scwcd ..i am sure that you can get 90+ if you have gone through the hf book perfectly..if it is only for the exam...i think you should clear it with just the hf book..all the best to u
