well shivani, i have just started reading the spec.Anyway i am gonna read the entire spec. Other than the spec i would like to read the mastering ejb book. Then there is a oreilly book. will go through that if time permits. scheduled the exam on 30th july. Since this is a discount voucher i cannot postpone also.Hardly enough time left.It would be great if you could share your thoughts/notes along the way. By the way when are taking your exam

Hello Senthil, I too am having a similar voucher so - well its a tight schedule. Anyways - the above Specs. chapters do not look very relevant from the objectives point of view. Have you got work experience - on EJB ?. Regards, Shivani.

Hi shivani, i have worked on the EJB2.1 for about 3 years now. But as far as ejb3 is concerned i am a rookie. How do you actually prepare. Do you practice what you read or just reading the stuff. what is the app server and IDE you are using. Are you working anywhere or in collage. Since i am working it has been very tough to find time in between the work to study and practice. I have started one month back and because of the time constraints i had to stop. Looks like you have gone past what i am studying now. Will catch up with you soon. regards, S.S.S

I do not have much exp on EJB at all - only on jsp/servlets. Mostly I read and then practice a bit to test. Right now I am just reading to get to understand how things work... App server : jboss 4.0.4 . IDE: Eclipse 3.1 Okay I got my answer for this question : Chapters to study - Answer by Anna So chapter 15 is okay but not 7-11. Regards, Shivani.
