I want to have a honest opinion from you. Please tell me whether EJB is still considered for new developmental projects in J2EE or are people in the industry looking for alternatives?

I want to know this since if EJB is not considered any more then there is no point investing time for the certification.

Is getting certified in SCBCD still a viable option? And even if it is, then which one is still preferrable, SCBCD for EJB 3.0 or the SCBCD for EJB 2.1?

What do you think?
