I am using Netbeans 5.5 and Sun Application Server 9.0 with Java Enterprise Edition version 5.0.

I used the new classes from database wizard to generate persistent entities. Through the wizard I chose to connect to mysql database,
specifying the jar file that contains the driver needed to connect to mysql and also specifying the connection string. During the wizard I was asked to specify a JNDI name for the connection string so that it can be referenced by clients. My question is how the JNDI name i specify gets registered in the JNDI registry of the application server???
