Hi Guys,

I am preparing SCBCD5.0 and I tried to find a good mock exam for it. Can someone recommend one?

If any one take SUN's
ePractice for the Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5 (WGS-PREX-J091C)?

It says Course Length-4 hours and have 180 days. I am not sure what that means? How can I use 180 days for 4 hours?

Can any explain it to me?

Thank you in advance.

Take a look at this link:

https://suned.sun.com/secure/assessment/091.jsp

They dont tell you correct/incorrect answers, only your score. Anyway, since this mock is from Sun's webpage, I hope the actual test questions wont be too far from this mock questions. Maybe someone that already take the test can confirm that.

Off course they tell you how many questions you had right and wrong, but I mean they dont tell you exactly which answer was right or wrong.

Just to clarify my horrible english.

Sun's mock exam is also good for checking your knowledge.

The mock exam (CAD$66) for two sets, which provide answers and explain.

Best regards

hello,

a couple of days ago the Whizlabs SCBCD 5.0 Preparation Kit has been released.

I have 5 other Whizlabs simulators, and I might buy this one. The quality of the questions is usually ok, and the system has at least the most basic features of a mock exam simulator.

A significant disadvantage is that a license is quite expensive, and only works with 3 CPUs, which you have to choose within a couple of months! So as soon as you upgrade your hardware, your license is void.

Dear Sam,

Which book are you using to prepare for the exam ? I need to start preparation soon, but I'm really lost since there's no specialized book for SCBCD 5.0 preparation ...

Thanks in advance ...

I recommend that you think twice about buying the Whizlabs SCBCD 5.0 Exam Simulator. The quality is utterly horrifying. The suggested answers don't match the questions and even though I converse with non-native English-speakers frequently the grammatical monstrosities in the simulator leave me wondering what they're really asking.

I am actually considering asking them for a refund because even though it may be quite common for a lot of companies to sell beta-products for a high price the exam simulator is completely useless unless they both correct the Q&As as well as the language.

OReilly's Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0 (5th Edition), this is an excellent book for start and also for preparing.

After that, you can follow Mikalai Zaikin_SCBCD 5.0 Study Guide and EJB 3.0 specification.

These three parts are enough for preparation.

Good luck

I won't be buying another simulator, I'll just refresh my memory on those things which I don't use daily and I'll pass the exam without a problem, I think.

Hm, not quite sure what illegal material i've been referencing to but it doesn't matter, really...

Just wanted to add that I already sent 11 corrections to Whizlabs not including the ones which I am not quite sure whether I am right or wrong I have to add that I only did two practice tests so far so ~10% of the mock exam are incorrect... great =)
