Hi,
We all know that Persitence is no more a feature that is restricted only to the J2EE environments.A simple POJO can be turned into a Entity at a drop of the hat.

i want help from someone who have used persistence api in j2se.

Would be really thankful if you could tell me how to connect to the oracle database.i.e what are the properties need to be set in persistence.xml. Jar files that has be in the classpath.Provider implementation that i can make use.

Please aslo shed somelight on how j2ee containers connect with the database (are they make use of connection pooling).

would appreciate if you could post samples on that
