We have, finally, released EJBPlus V5 for the new SCBCD exam!
It contains 5 full sized mock exams that match the actual exam in terms of toughness level, style, and topic coverage. (Note - Real questions from the actual exam are NOT included.)
It also includes a toy EJB Application that we used while creating questions for EJBPlus. We created this small EJB application to test out various things that are refered in the questions to make sure what we are saying is actually how it works on the reference implementation! It includes simple session beans, message bean and 3.0 entities.
Paul Anil, in this post you said that (in EJBPlus) "Real questions from the actual exam are NOT included" ... What about JWebPlus ? (were there any real question about the SCWCD 1.4 ??). I asked this because I bought the JWebPlus and I found some similar questions in the real exam.
Hi Gustavo, I guess the same holds true for other simulators. You can find very similar questions but most often the variables and wordings (including the scenario itself) have been changed.
But even with the changes you still get that deja vu feeling that you've seen the question before.
Otherwise, simulators would not be as valuable as they are now.

A simulator usually contains hundreds of questions. Some questions are very straight forward, and no matter how you word them it will match a real question on the same topic. For example, Which of the following are valid EJB roles or Which of the following have a similar life cycle as a MDB? So even if the author hasn't actually seen that question on the exam, it still matches the real questions.
Another thing that we have observed is that we create questions out of examples given in specifications and apparently the exam authors have also been inspired by the same So that also causes some questions to be similar.
Overall, whenever we know that a particular question is too close to a real question, we change it. This holds true for all our simulators.
The reason why I mentioned that it does not contain real exam questions is that many people have asked us whether it is exam dump. Some people buy it with that in mind and then they may get disappointed.
It was one of my three exam simulators. I used it for about 2 weeks before SCBCD 5.0 exam. It is quite good, contains a lot of very interesting questions. Specially, there are many interesting questions about transactions with various types and attributes connected with exceptions and local/remote clients. For example: Bean A (BMT), calls method in bean B (CMT, given tx attribute) and bean B throws System/App Exception. What happens with beans and client...? These quesitions require very good understanding in that matter. Important thing is that Enthuware provides regular updates of question bank (I received several updates in 2 weeks). I haven't found any bugs in it (in whizlabs kit, the evaluation of final exam was causing an error). Besides, Enthuware contains more questions (4+1 exams) than Whizlabs (3+1 exams).
