Hi Ranchers

It is my first time touching JMS
A doubt is, if I have two types of MDB to listen to different JMS queue respectively, how could I configure in the DD?
Seems in the DD, there is only tag message-driven-destination describing the message type(QUEUE/TOPIC), there is no queue name.

Thanks
Jack

Hi,

<message-destination> configure the Queue/Topic name in your application. Queue/Topic are configured by container using admin tools. You can define one or more Queue/Topic in container.

To use these Queue/Topic name in MDB you have to configure the <message-destination-ref> element in your DD. This define the JNDI resource to use in application lookups.

<message-destination-name> element in <message-destination> in the deployment descriptor and is the value that could be used by a message destination reference or message-driven bean as its <message-destination-link> element.

Thanks
