Hi all

I gave my scbcd5 today and secured 93%......these are the steps I followed:

step1: Enterprise JavaBeans, 3.0....read chapters 1 to 17....it took around 12 days(around 3 hours per day plus some office time also)

step2: straightaway jumped to enthuware to check where do I stand....did the questions chapter wise so as to judge myself in each area.....hardly got 20% questions right....most of them were bouncers for me...but now i realized where should i concentrate next time i read any book(took 4 days...office time only)

step3: The most important step.....Read Mikalai Zaikin's SCBCD 5.0 Guide....its a must for dis exam...either go through the specifications or read his notes...but i think the 2nd option is much much better(took 3 days...office time plus 2 hours at home).....Thanks alot Mikalai...now I will be using your scdjws guide also....

step4: went back to Enterprise JavaBeans, 3.0...read it again...(around 5 days)

step5: did enthuware again...dis time got around 75% correct....improved all ma concepts....(3 days)

step6: went to prometric centre and gave the exam.....the whole process took around 30 days(around 3 hrs per day at home plus office hours)

These were the steps I followed...might not suit everybody....

I would like to add I dint have any prior knowledge of EJBs...knew just few concepts of EJB 2.1....but I had a good hands on and experience in spring and hibernate technology...so that helped me a lot....my next target is SCDJWS....cheers

well i think it will b much more than 12*3 hours as you dint include office hours.....as i am on bench right now so I utilized most of my office hours also.....n as i had told I have been working on hibernate and spring tecnology for last 8 months so that helped me a lot....plus last year also i had studied for scbcd1.3 for around 5 6 days and dn I skipped the plan.....overall I gave my as much time as possible to this certification for last 30 days and henceforth cleared it in such a short span....

by d way Ishara Amarasinghe is a nice bowler
