Question about Book material

Hello,
I just finished SCWCD exam and planning to take SCBCD. From the offecial web main EJB is one of the topics covered.

Most of the books in the links web page say EJB but what about other topics? Are they also covered in each book that talks about EJB?

if not, Is there any book that covers them?

Do you have a strategy for someone who has no knowledge what so ever about EJB's, I mean should I go for a simple book like the head first then read an advanced book?

Is there a good book (based on experience) that covers topics well enough (not shallow coverage)?

Thanks in advanced.

I'm also planning to take SCBCD exam. After going through some of the previous posts, EJB in action seems to be a good one if you have no prior EJB experience. let me know about your choice.

Man this forum is really quite, I guess it is because less people prsue a certificate in EJB.

Anyway I checked reviews and it seems that the best choice is OReilly Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0 (5th Edition) and that's the book I ordered.

Good Luck

Nope.. its just that people get tired of people asking the same questions again and again despite having put the search option and despite having put the useful links on the top of the page and also despite having the wonderful search engine called Google amongst us

nitin,
First of all please read my post and not just the title. You can see that I checked the links.

Now other certificates' links have books that mention the certificate name that makes easy to tell that such books cover all topics of the certificate even if you have no idea what the certificate is about.

With EJB links none of those books say SCBCD and frankly it is not that easy for someone who doesn't know anything about the certificate to judge which book is more appropriate that's why I posted the questions.

Take it easy on your head, you gonna need it for the exam!

A certification does not require books to be written on it. Even I haven't touched EJB yet, but since people already have said in the forum that books like "EJB 3 in Action are good", get one and read it. Then later read the specs. Keep practicing till you get a hang of it. That's all one would require for a certification.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
