If we have to make a EJB 2.1 client view for an EJB 3.0 bean then should we create a home interface manually or will the container make it automatically for us?

No interfaces are created by the client.

Check 14.2.4 of EJB in Action book.

For EJB 2 client view, which use create method on home interface to create EJb object instance, you can add a home interface.

Then use @RemoteHome annotation on the bean class to mark this as a remote home interface.

hi Anish,

That CAN is a big keyword because a question in exam probably will be worded as a MUST or SHOULD.
