In general, EJB 3.0 is simpler that EJB 2.0.
Entity beans have been deprecated and replaced with JPA.
The session beans don't use Home/Local Home any more.
EJB 3.0 uses the new annotations feature.

Boh, any more?

I used O'Reilly book for my preparation.

With EJB 3.0, it is much more POJO based which means as a developer it is much more easy to code.

It would be too long to explain, espcially if you don't already know EJB2.X. But you can find information on the net, like here.

About the books, I'm using EJB3 In Action and Pro EJB3: Java Persistence API. Migration between 2.X and 3.0 is introduced in both books.
