Hello All,
I'm planning to go next week to the exam...so I was wondering if those mocks exams have the same level ...than the real one !!!
Thanks in advance.

Both mocks provide a more difficult exam. The real one is relatively easy!

Thanks Allan for your reply,
I read from people in this forum saying, for instance, than JWebPlus was easier than the real one ?!!! ....
...I think it is interesting for people deciding to buy one of these mock exam...to choose the best one....
So let's start a kind of survey.
If you think JWebplus better than SCWCD@Whiz,
increase counter on the left...else right or both

Herve, i have tried diagnostic test of SCWCD@Whiz just this morning with 62.7%...its good. The 85 quizes where i scored 70% is excellent to tell u. Abd ofcourse the tips comes with SCWCD@Whiz is really useful.
Now i'll go with miftah,Ken,Velmurugan's notes and then JWeb+ & SCWCD@Whiz other exams.
I think they r really close to what u should know b4 the exam....
I m appearing 23rd January, u when?

I found the JWebPlus exams to be good but definitely easier than the real test.

Herve,
I am among the first few users of SCWCDWhiz and also among the first fews who got SCWCD certification.
Comparing my SCJP experiece to SCWCD, i will say its definitely easier. I was immensely helped by SCWCDWhiz; the current version is even more advanced than what i used to prepare.
But my advice to you is not to invest time in choosing 1 of 2. If you can afford both, go for them otherwise make your quick choice and better spend time in preparation. I believe each day of yours counts towards successful outcome.
Go ahead and you will be the winner.
Best of Luck

Let me also comment on the topic because I have used both the software and I am certified (meaning I ha ve taken the real test). I think JWebPlus is closer to the real exam.
Are one or both difficult/easier than the real exam??
Yes and No. Simulators are difficult in that they ask difficult memory question. They typically design a so called difficult question from a sentence in the API and/or specs which tests your memory. These kind of tricky questions are never asked in the exam. Yes exam does ask memory questions but they are all related to tld/web.xml tags and obvious API methods/classes/interface. I think Sun believes that you should not have to refer to a book to find out where getParameter method is defined or how to write error-page tag in the web.xml. But, they don;t ask corner questions.

So, are simulators difficult/easier than the real exam should not be an important question. I would look at these simulators by asking do they help for the real exam? Yes!! they do. In the real exam you will see many questions from the simulators. They do a good job of giving you confidence to appear in the real exam. I found more nonsense questions in Whiz than in JWEbAplus (JWebPlus also has nonsense questions but total number of questions are more so sensible questions are more too).

In conclusion, buy one of the two (does not matter which one) it will help. If you have real world experience, live with mock exams on Javaranch and Anand's mock exam (both are better than simulators)
