Hi all, I have passed with a moderate score of 74%. Nothing great about it. Thanks for the information that has been posted on the SCWCD links page. The syntax cards, mock exams and Ersin Eser's work were very much helpfull. I guess that my jCert exams have also helped me on this to some extent. I am getting started on my SCJA exam preparation. Great job folks . - Venkatraman Balasubramanian SCJP Oracle Certified Solution Developer - JDeveloper (R3) BEA System Certified jCert Enterprise Developer (WLS 6.0).

Hi, I had to do the following things before taking this exam: 1. Go through the Eric Eser's diagram on WebApp DTD. Create a similar diagram for tab library DTD. 2. Go through Custom Tag library creation documents (as I haven't done it before) as well as create some to see it working . 3. Refresh the understanding on life cycle of the tag libraries and Constants that needs to be returned by the implementation. 4. List the listener class, their methods and their signatures. 5. Get atleast glimpse of the patterns found at the following URLs for Design Patterns: a. Sun Java Center - J2EE Patterns b. Java BluePrints - Enterprise Patterns c. Design Patterns by the gang of four. I had got my BEA Weblogic Server 6.0 certification couple of weeks ago. So, other objectives were covered by the documents from BEA, that I have read sometime back. Best of luck guys. - Venkatraman Balasubramanian SCJP Oracle Certified Solution Developer - JDeveloper (R3) BEA System Certified jCert Enterprise Developer (WLS 6.0).
