Hello, I took the test this morning and passed with 89%. Thanks to Ersin Eser, Madhav Lakkapragada and everyone else who has contributed to this site. The test was easier than I'd expected. I found the questions to be similar to those of JWebPlus and Anands exam. I also used the excellent Javaranch Mock. I used Eduardo Cobian's exam to scare me into doing some work (earlier this week I went through it and scored about 30% !) I also found Mika Hirvasoja's mock exam to be useful. I was worried that I was learning the answers to the questions without learning why they were correct (hope that made sense). Yesterday I took the Javaranch Mock and scored 100%, a random test of JwebPlus and scored 95% and scored 57/59 on Anands Mock. As for the survey… I’m sure this doesn’t affect the questions you get it just seemed like they want to know about the people that are taking their exams, e.g. are you a developer/architect if so senior or junior, that kind of thing. Other things you might want to know: I didn’t get any questions on filters. Memorise all Listener events etc
Thanks Ersin. Vikrama with regards to number of questions on each subject I'd say its pretty similar to Anands exam and the JWebPlus exams. Some people didn't like it but I found it really useful. As for which parts I found the hardest. I'm not sure I didn't find anything that stuck out as been particulary hard. The ones I got wrong were where I didn't know the API well enough. Oh and a tip for the design patterns, go with your gut instinct! I'm no design patterns Guru but still scored 100% on that section. Also I finished this exam in 45mins, I left then because I have a tendancy to start doubting my answers and confusing myself! Ian
congrats!!! good score .....and g'luck for the architect exam!

Thanks Faiza. Raj, I have managed to get myself on a week long EJB training course in March. So I plan to take part one in April. I've already bought the boys I need, Gang of Four, UML Distilled etc. So just a lot of reading ahead! Ian
