I'm not sure if anyone has told you guys this or not, but there is now a different forum for announcing test results, passing scores, etc.
The Programmer Certification Results forum has been renamed the Sun Certification Results forum.
So all announcements of test results should be posted there.
I've noticed that no one posts their SCWD results there, and they still post them here...so I don't know if anyone on this forum is aware of the change or not.
Just trying to be helpful!

The change makes me somewhat upset.

I am not sure if this is being enforced, currently. I will bring it up in the Moderator's forum and see.
Thanks.

I know that the programmers exam has a lot of participants, and that is why they would need a separate results forum, but for SCJD SCWCD and SCEA don't have as many people. I like seeing within results in the respective forums rather than in one big forum for all exams. That would take a lot of filtering to find the results of people you want to congratulate.

Well why don't you just congratulate everyone?
Plus it's kinda cool to have just one place where you can see how many people are dilligently studying and passing the various Sun certifications. Basically, every thread is a sucess story...sometimes a failure, but then the person gets encouragement to try again.
And it keeps the other forums focused on specific certification related problems.

In this forum, this has not been enforced - AFAIK we haven't been moving results threads out. I'm a bit in two minds about it at the moment. Yes, it clutters up the forum, but it also gives you that nice sense of community. When you pass, you want to tell that to all the people you've discussed and studied with all those weeks or even months.
As the forum grows (read: the economic situation improves ) moving results out will probably become necessary at some point though.
