I created an app in tomcat-root/webapps/myapp.
Put a servlet in tomcat-root/webapps/myapp/web-inf/classes/a-servlet. I can't run it. What's wrong with it?

I found this out recently
You servlets need to be in the c:\tomcatdir\webapps\root\web-inf\classes directory.
If you have packages you place the base leve of the package starting at that directory.
Tomcat did not automatically create that classes directory, so you will need to make that dir.
