Usage of getResourceAsStream()

Hi,
I cleared the SCWCD exam scoring 83%. Although I was not a member of javaranch, I used to visit it regularly and it helped me a lot. Also taking a cue from the sharing nature of all javaranchers, I have decided to upload some questions which I thought might be useful for the future web component developers. Currently I have a sample of about 16 questions which will be increased in due course of time.

I still however have a doubt regarding the usage of the following methods: ServletContext.getResource() and
ServletContext.getResourceAsStream()
Can someone give a scenario where these methods might be useful.
