Actually Business Delegate (BD) is used to seperate the presentation tier and the Business logic. BD has nothing got to do with hiding the complex functionality (which FAcade is capable of) although it does in the process.

Does anyone know which patterns you can be tested on in the exam, most study guides and info just mention the 4 main ones (Value Object, MVC, Business Delegate and Data Access Object). This question mentions others I've only heard of, do you need to know a wide range of patterns or just the main 4?

Some one told me to study all the patterns used in PetStore. But i think u should not ignore - MVC,Business Delegate,DataAccessObject,Value Objects, Front Controller and Session Facade. In most of the mock exams, i have come across these patterns.
