I have a basic question,
When does the response object gets committed.

The response is composed of:
1. the status line (which contains the HTTP version, the status code and a short human-readable message corresponding to the status code),
2. the optional response headers
3. a blank line, and
4 and the content body (the web resource you requested),
in that order.
The container buffers the response headers, but the content need not be. The response is considered committed if the buffer is already flushed to the client.
