I have passed SCJP1.4 beta certification .Am i eligible for SCWCD?

I think you are. I believe SCJP is not required for SCWCD anyway.

SCJP is a prerequisite for SCWCD as shown here:

I didn't know this, but the doc says it has to be - Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.2 status so MAYBE 1.4 beta is not allowed. Thanks for correcting me, Valentin.

Yeah maybe, but Sun will have to change that soon since people will start taking the certification for 1.4 instead of 1.2 and nobody will be allowed to be SCWCD anymore
