(first: didn't there used to be a search feature on these forums? For the life of me I can't seem to find a way to search through particular forums any more? I checked the FAQ and it says there should be a 'search' feature on the top of most forums which I don't see).
I've looked over the list of book recommended at this site:
and was curious what most would recommend as the "top 3." I just ordered one the SCWCD Exam Study Kit book, but want to purchase some good resource books. I don't have the pocketbook to buy them all, so was curious what people recommended. ( I've been coding in JSP for a while so I don't need a complete newbie book, but I'm no guru either and jumped right into JSP without knowing a lot of the basics about servlets that I should know. )
Thanks for any comments. I'm sure this question has been asked a lot, but as I first mentioned I can't seem to find the search feature.

I think there are a couple of SCWCD books reviewed in the Bunkhouse. Also, you might the reviews on servlet/JSP books to be interesting as well.

The manning book is not that expensive if you buy it as pdf with credit card.
I use it as concept-refresher when programming, not for exam. Its good.

IMHO Jason Hunter's Java Servlet Programming and the WROX Professional JSP serves me in good stead.
I agree. Here's the link:
