Hi,
I was just curious -- those of you that have already passed the SCWCD -- how helpful was the certificate in searching for a job?
I graduate this semester (no experience!) and I figured i will not search for a job until I pass SCWCD.
With no experience I worry I will have some difficulty.
But the SCWCD will help in applying for jobs that use Enterprise Java Beans.
thank you for any replies,
Rodge

Hi
If u clear this exam, u will get a clear idea of servlets/jsp. I hope surely this will help u in searching jobs. Regarding Enterprise Beans, SCWCD has nothing to do with it.

At the least you should be able to answer just about any JSP/servlet related question they throw at you or at least be able to give a reasonable response. Many employers employ an exam of some kind as a method of weeding out those folks that don't know enough.
Also, I found being a SCWCD got me more interviews...it's an impressive thing to have 2 Java certifications but what always helps is experience.
