I passed SCWCD with 89% this morning. Java Ranch helped me a lot.
I have a question. What should I take next UML or Architect? Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Well, what role will you play in your organisation? The Architect exam only deals with the very high level, architectural issues of large enterprise-level Java systems and would be suitable if that's the kind of level you'll work at (or want to develop into). UML starts to come into its own in at the next level down (in detail, job title, and pay scale ).

I would say get the SCWCD study kit and do all the mock exams possible. They are very helpful.

Is there some UML certification I haven't heard about? Or did you mean the IBM XML certification?
I'm inclined to think that either is too narrow a subject to have its own certification.
