Hello,
I am new to J2EE technology. I want to learn the basics of web component programming (Servlets & JSPs) and at the same time prepare for the SCWCD certification exams. I'd like your suggestion for a book/tutorial which solves both purposes.

thanks

Hi
I have gone through lots of postings on this forum. It appears that SCWCD Exam Study Kit from manning publication is highly recommended.
Thanks
Ravi

For a softer introduction to Servlets and JSP I'd recommend Marty Hall's book "Core Servlets". It won't get you certified but it will give you a practical feel to the technology. For exam preparation you can't beat the SCWCD Exam Study Kit.
