I understand that SCJP is the prereq, but i have taken it way back in 2000, is this still a valid prereq certificate? or do i need to retake SCJP before taking SCWCD? Thanks, sri

The requirements are laid out here: http://suned.sun.com/US/catalog/courses/CX-310-080.html You only have to be SCJP for 1.1, 1.2, or 1.4. No timeframe is mentioned, but obviously if you are 1.1 certified, it will have been awhile since your test. You are fine.
