Hi Ramana
Welcome to JavaRanch and congratulations on passing your SCJP.
If you are already familliar with JSP and servlets, then you may want to consider doing SCWCD first. Many people describe this as an easy exam. I am only just starting it at the moment, so I don't know how true that is.
I have completed the SCJD certification, and I found that reasonably easy and enjoyable. If you are looking at getting another certificate on your resume fast though, this may not be for you. It is commonly estimated that it will take around 3 weeks full time for you to complete if you are a good developer and already know the technologies (e.g. RMI, swing, JTable, etc). If you are not used to working from very loose "user" specs, or need to learn some of the technologies it may take you longer. And once you have completed it, you have to wait until the assignment is marked before you know whether you have passed or not - this can take anywhere up to 6 weeks (in some cases things have gone wrong and it has taken longer). So if you start it now, it could be 2 months or more before you get to say you passed.
As for what the industry wants: I have no idea. It seems that no matter what people have, the employer wants more, and wants very precise fits. So I dont know if SCWCD or SCJD will help with jobs.
Good luck with whatever your decision is.
Regards, Andrew

Ramana, If you're working with JSP and Servlets (J2EE stuff), then SCWCD is meant for you, otherwise if you're a dedicated Java application developement guy, go for SCJD.
Andrew, at the time of taking SCWCD, you'll feel how peantus kinda exam is this. I completed it in 20 minutes, since you've done SCJD, you won't face any trouble.
