1. what are the authentication methods that use built-in HTTP mechanisms??
2. what are the attributes of the taglib directive??
can any body explain this...

1. Built-In Authentication mechanisms :
a. BASIC - dialog box pops up for login and password.The password
is transmitted as plain text with base64 encoding to
the server.
b. DIGEST - same as above, but the password is encrypted and sent
back to the server.
2. Attributes of taglib directive are :
a. Prefix : is a unique name for the tag library to be used
in the JSP.
b. uri : defines the location of the taglibrary itself.
(Refer page:289 of the study kit for more info).
